Master of Arts in English and Russian language pedagogy
My varied teaching experience with learners of different ages, as well as the research I conducted
for my master’s thesis, have convinced me that immersive language learning is incredibly effective
in terms of language acquisition. Moreover, children who are immersed in a language other than
their mother tongue and have the opportunity to use it in real-life situations are likely to see the
value of this language as a means of communication and learning. By helping create an
environment in which children can listen to and progressively express themselves in English, I
would like to assist them in developing their competences and becoming confident communicators.
